OUTBOUND CALLING
- BUSINESS TO BUSINESS
ABT can provide many methods for contacting your
customers or potential customers. One option that many of our
clients choose is an outbound calling campaign. Typical campaigns
that we performs for outbound B-to-B are; Subscription Renewals
and New Subscribers, Product Sales, Appointment Setting, Surveys
and Market Research, and Direct Mail Follow-Up.
Also, within the outbound structure, we can offer
you unique flexibility in our dialing choices. For example;
Automated, Predictive Dialing
If you have a large amount of names that need to
be contacted quickly, and the database is available electronically
or on disk, we recommend our automated dialing system. We work
with you to build the customer contact screens so we can capture
the data you need, efficiently and effectively. This system works
well for market research surveys, renewals or new subscribers,
polling, direct mail follow-up, ticket sales, etc.
Computer Preview Dialing
This dialing technique allows the tele-service
representative to view the information before the call is made,
and it also allows the TSR (tele-service representative) to perform
'callbacks' with prospects, if relationship marketing is needed.
This type of dialing works well whrn a 'relationship' approach
is needed. Examples of preview dialing campaigns would be; sales,
appointment setting, fund raising, etc. This method of dialing
can work well for large, medium, or small databases.
Manual Dialing
Plain old telephones are used with this system
- no computers. This system still works very well if you aren't
quite ready for computerization or electronic transfer of data.
You can provide us with labels to call from, or we can print them
for you. This method of dialing works well for testing new ideas
or campaigns with smaller lists to determine if a 'rollout' effort
with a larger database is appropriate.
THE OUTBOUND START-UP PROCESS
We can start a campaign within a few days, if
we can obtain the information as described below.
Product / Service Knowledge.
If, from our discussions by phone or E-Mail, we
decide to start a program together, we need to obtain as much
information as possible about your needs, expectations, and goals.
We also need to learn about the product or service we will be
discussing with prospective customers. Obviously, the more we
learn in the product knowledge area, the better we can serve the
campaign. So put together product/service fact sheets with features
and benefits, any literature available, a sample of the product,
history, etc. If you have any scripting or order forms available,
we will need that as well.
System Set-up.
Once scripting is completed and agreed to by both
companies, we can start loading the program into our computer
system. The computer screens will be built to satisfy the data
collection requirements that you've indicated. You will be sent
screen 'cuts' to approve before we start our calling.
Database Set-up.
We can receive your database electronically (E-Mail)
or by floppy or CD-ROM. We use 'Access' and 'FoxPro' as our database,
and so we will convert to that standard. We can receive files
in most formats, so a discussion may be needed with our technical
staff prior to exporting data. We prefer to have records with
Names, Titles, Company Name, Addresses, and Phone Numbers.
